PhD position in high-contrast imaging instrumentation for segmented telescopes at the Lagrange laboratory, Nice. The subject has been selected by the CNES for co-funding, and industries have been solicited for the other co-funding part. The selected candidate will work in the framework of the SPEED testbed (Segmented Pupil Experiment for Exoplanet Detection) on the development of novel diffractive complex focal plane masks with focus on high-contrast imaging (apart of the SPEED coronagraph development) and telescope cophasing (apart of the SPEED cophasing sensor development).
