For hotels there is a large selection available. Riquier, Acropolis, Garibaldi, the "Vieux Nice" (old town) or Jean-Medecin are good locations, close to the town center and to the Tramway line 1 that can be used to go both to our meeting point on Tuesday and to the Université Valrose (Wed-Fri). No car is needed. Note that the Tramway Line 2 connects the airport to the Tramway Line 1 at Jean-Medecin and is quite convenient. (Tickets are 1.5€). 

In mid-September, temperatures are a pleasant 17°C to 25°C with 3 days of rain per month, on average. Water temperature should be above 22°C.
