I am Professor of Geophysics at the Université Côte d'Azur (UniCA, France) in the "Geoazur" Earth Sciences laboratory. I am also a Fellow of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF, 2015 Class of Fellows) and co-director of a graduate school and research, called SPECTRUM (2020-now).

My research aims mainly at understanding better the role of fluids in the mechanics of the Earth’s crust, especially seismic and aseismic fault behaviors. I am interested in developing new approaches combined from geophysical observations and hydromechanical modelling for the study of earthquakes, landslides, injection-induced seismicity in crustal reservoirs, and the dynamics of aseismic slip on faults and its interactions with earthquakes.
